The town of Conwy provides a small but bustling shopping experience with a wide variety of tourist shops mixed equally with book shops and art galleries.

The main shopping areas are located along Castle Street and the High Street. There are also a good number of small gift shops.

Parking in Conwy

Short stay car parking is available on the streets but please be aware that the local traffic wardens are very keen.

If you're looking for hassle free car parking then the Castle car park is located just off Rosehill Street within the town walls. If this car park is especially busy or there is a festival on then another public car park is available on Llanrwst Road by turning left just as you pass the castle coming over the River Conwy.

For the fit and able who don't mind a bit of a walk street parking is always available on Bryn Castell which is located up a hillside facing the town off Llanrwst Road.

Edwards of Conwy

Conwy is home to the very popular and equally famous butchers, Edwards of Conwy, which serves excellent quality local meats. The shop is very popular and is located on the upper end of the High Street.
