The Groes Inn is a traditional British Inn located a few minutes to the south of the town of Conwy in North Wales.
The inn is over four centuries old and was the first licensed inn in the whole of Wales.
The Groes Inn occupies an wonderful spot high above the Conwy valley and close to the village of Rowen. The position provides terrific views of the Conwy valley and estuary.
The Groes Inn serves a wide variety of dishes sourced from local produce including Welsh Beef and Lamb, cured hams, and pheasant from nearby estates.
All dishes are prepared from fresh produce and served in the Inn's luxury dining room.
For lovers of fish the Inn serves an abundance of local delights including Conwy crab, wild salmon, and oysters. Mussels come from the town of Conwy which is famous for its mussel industry.
As well as the restaurant The Groes Inn also has a number of luxury bedrooms available.
